Bayburt University, which participated with regional and organic products in the first local Çoruh Valley Organic Products Harvest Festival, was the focus of attention.
Assoc. Dr. Ümmü Gülsüm Erdoğan, Dr. Lecturer Yaşar Erdoğan and Ehram Master Sevim Ataner made the presentation of the products displayed at the stand of Bayburt University. In the festival where many stands were opened, honey, egg, bean, potato and ehram products produced by the Bayburt University were exhibited
Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun who made a speech at the opening ceremony of the festival said that they had made soil anaysis in agreement with the Chamber of Agriculture for organic farming services and they were ready to do everything to support the villagers and the farmers. Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun also expressed his gratitude to the Governor Pehlivan, hoping that the festival would become traditional. After the opening ceremony Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun visited, together with the provincial administrators, the exhibition stand of Bayburt University.
Governor Ali Hamza Pehlivan, deputy Fettani Battal, Mayor Mete Memiş, Rector Prof. Dr. Selçuk Coşkun, Provincial Director of Agriculture Abdülkadir Karabulut, institutional supervisors, NGO representatives and citizens participated in the festival.
