What is Erasmus+ KA131 Student Mobility?
Erasmus+ KA131 student mobility is a program supported by the European Union. It allows university students to study for a short period at another university in Europe or to do an internship abroad. Through this program, students can gain both academic and personal development opportunities, experience different cultures, and improve their foreign language skills.

Types of Mobility
Erasmus+ student mobility takes place in two forms:

1. Study Mobility
In this type of mobility, a student studies at a university in another European country for a certain period.

  • The study period is arranged as one (1) semester at our university.
  • Associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD students can apply.
  • The student must go to one of the universities that has an agreement with our university.
  • Courses taken at the host university may be recognized by the home university under certain conditions.
  • Students are generally expected to take 30 ECTS credits per semester.
  • This type of mobility is available at all levels of study.

2. Internship Mobility
In this type of mobility, students can do an internship at an institution abroad related to their field of study.
At our university, students are sent for internships for a duration of 2 months.
Internships can be done in companies, research centers, laboratories, institutions, or organizations.
Taking courses does not count as an internship.
It can be carried out at all levels of study.
Graduating students can do an internship within 12 months after graduation, but they must apply before they graduate.
The total duration of post-graduation internships and other Erasmus activities cannot exceed 12 months.
