The book “Bayburt Region Vocabulary”, which is the product of 8 years of field research and intensive work by our academicians Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ferdi Güzel, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kürşad Kara and Dr. Lecturer Ahmet Akpınar, was published under the coordination of Bayburt Culture and History Application and Research Center (BAKÜTAM).

This dictionary, which was created with the idea that a comprehensive dialect dictionary is necessary to record the rich vocabulary of the Bayburt dialect and to transfer the cultural heritage to the next generations, contains a total of 7769 words, 7436 of which are headings and 333 of which are within the article.
