According to the World Health Organization, health is not just not being sick or disabled, but being physically, spiritually and socially well. In addition, along with the physical and biological structure of a person, the psychological side also falls within the scope of the concept of health. Therefore, it is considered very important that the provision of health services, which can be evaluated as therapeutic, preventive and rehabilitative, is made in an accessible, high-quality manner. This, in turn, increases the need for managers who are experts in their field in order to provide health services regularly, effectively and efficiently.
The increasing need for specialists and qualified managers in the health sector arises as a result of the rapid development of the sector. Together with the qualified workforce that has knowledge in the field, the resources that health institutions have are managed effectively and efficiently, and thus it is aimed to provide health services at international quality standards. In this direction, the purpose of the Health Management Undergraduate Program is to train qualified human resources to meet the needs of the sector.
In addition, the Health Management Undergraduate Program aims to train managers who have the necessary knowledge and skills to systematically and consciously implement planning, organizing, executing, coordinating and auditing functions for the successful execution of the health system.
