Purpose of the Program
Logistics; 'planning, implementation, control of the transportation, operation and storage of materials, works, services, processes and information flow in both directions, without interruption, in an effective and efficient manner, from the starting point of the raw material to the end point of consumption of the product, in order to meet the needs of consumers. and ensuring the sustainability of all these processes.
In this context, logistics with its many components such as basic Supply Chain Management stages such as procurement, production, shipment, storage, packaging, transportation, Total Quality Management, modern business development processes, information technologies, Customer Relationship Management; emerges as an integrated industry. The aim of the program is to train qualified 'intermediate staff' in the field of Logistics by providing students with global knowledge and skills in the field of logistics throughout their education period.

Today, developing logistics applications are increasing their importance and permanence in our country, which we always feel its strategic importance due to its geographical location, and in the globalizing world. Today, companies aim to increase their cash flows and profitability by applying the right logistics processes, and at the same time to gain customer satisfaction by providing the supply of products as soon as possible, instead of reducing costs during the production phase.
The objectives of the logistics program; students who have the necessary technical knowledge in their field, who can think analytically and quickly, who are aware of the importance of being practical and flexible to transform their knowledge into action quickly, who have a business culture, who follow our country and our world not only economically but also socially and culturally, have high communication skills, is to train them as a demanded expert in the logistics processes of all local and international companies in the service sectors.
Duration of Education and Language of Education
The education period of the Logistics Associate Degree Program is 2 years (4 Semesters) and the language of instruction is Turkish.
Graduation Requirements
In order to successfully complete the program, it is necessary to pass all the courses available in the program (120 ECTS), to achieve a weighted grade point average of at least 2.00 out of 4.00, and to successfully complete the summer internship (30 working days).
