IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT BAYÜTÖMER

According to our regulation, international students enrolled in the academic year 2023-2024, can commense their programs in case of having only the Turkish Proficiency Certificate issued by Yunus Emre Institute or BAYÜTÖMER. Other certificates issued by other institutions (except  issued by Yunus Emre Institute or BAYÜTÖMER) will not be accepted as valid documentation.

Candidates who have gained final registration right must submit documents to the Office proving their possession of the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Proficiency Certificate or the result of the Turkish Proficiency Exam conducted by BAYÜTÖMER (at least B1 level for associate's degree and at least B2 level for bachelor's degree) in order to commence their education at Bayburt University.

Among the registered students, those without the BAYÜTÖMER Turkish Proficiency Certificate or the Yunus Emre Institute Turkish Proficiency Certificate must take the Turkish Proficiency Exam conducted by BAYÜTÖMER. If their language proficiency falls below the determined level in this exam, they are obligated to start Turkish Language Courses organized by our university.

For these candidates, those with a Turkish proficiency level of B1 for associate's degree and B2 for bachelor's degree will begin their studies in their respective programs. These students must participate in exams organized by BAYÜTÖMER until graduation to raise their Turkish proficiency levels to at least C1.
